RILS Posted May 13, 2006 Report Posted May 13, 2006 I just bought a 04banshee all stock.I am looking at all the choices so any opions will be appricated.Ok I ride trails,mx and anything else that i can find this is my first atv I came off or cr250 and 125s so i like that arm jerking mid range that never quits. If i ride trails its fast.Im lokking for a pipe thats decent on bottom and hits hard in the mid and keeps pulling.I plan to run k&n clamp ons with stock carbs and buy the jets individualy.I would like to know how the pcs compare to the fattys,t5s and ssr.Ialso like the looks of the trinty stageiv is it better than all tose others?I dont plan on porting untill i put a new topend in but it will be done in the future.Any other suggestion welcome. batoutofshell Posted May 13, 2006 Report Posted May 13, 2006 If you are going to trail port i would go with the T-5's I believe they would react to porting better than the others. and still carry the bottom and mids nice till the porting. my 2 cents Quote

RILS Posted May 13, 2006 Author Report Posted May 13, 2006 (edited) What would be the correct jetting for the trintys with the clamp on 1000feet above sealevel? What about cpi?How will they copare to the others Ive heard they were good. Edited May 13, 2006 by RILS Quote
batoutofshell Posted May 13, 2006 Report Posted May 13, 2006 cpi's are more for drag not a very good trail pipe Quote
broke Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 For a fast trail pipe, I still say to go with a PTR. Which one would depend on what you are looking to get out of a pipe. The mids pull pretty much from right off idle to a pretty good top end. The High Revs, come on a little later, but pull longer on top. When I ran the mids, I just found that I short shifted a little sooner and let the low end torque of the pipes pull and could go just as fast as bikes with more topendy pipes. The pipes really have no hit, they just have a smotth pull the progressively gets stronger. Quote
shanYE west Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 PTR Hi-Rev average bottom with very strong mid range and pulls hard through top. For tighter trails I would go PTR Mid's Quote
