Hollister_Hitman Posted May 12, 2006 Report Posted May 12, 2006 I was wondering if it is worth it to just buy elka shocks up front without rebuilding the rear or buying a new rear. Will the Elkas make a difference or will the back just cancel them out? Quote
ellison445 Posted May 12, 2006 Report Posted May 12, 2006 They will make a huge difference.. I say buy them, then do your rear down the line Quote
kenr74 Posted May 12, 2006 Report Posted May 12, 2006 Yep, go for it. Just putting YFZ shocks on my bike was a huge difference. Putting some Elkas on will feel like a new bike. I just bought some Elka for my YFZ and they told me that everybody who buys fronts only comes back in a few months for the rear because they make such a big difference. I haven't ridden on mine yet but I hear you can't go wrong with them. Quote
Hollister_Hitman Posted May 12, 2006 Author Report Posted May 12, 2006 Thanks for the advice guys Quote
polaris336 Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 check ebay, i just got some from there for a good price. i also havent rode on em yet, but from what i hear it will be WAY better. I'm also wondering how they will work with the stock rear shock, only time will tell! Quote
