biggun6ss Posted May 2, 2006 Report Posted May 2, 2006 I would try some 310's and check your plugs. Quote
scotts96fast Posted May 2, 2006 Report Posted May 2, 2006 300's at the highest 511052 Yep,I'll bet you will be at 280.... Quote

Those only affect the jetting by one size at the most. Only on really cool days did I step up to a 310. I have clamp ons now and only run 320's and it is spot on. I check it religiously. Just try it out, whatever you think is right, go with it. I may be wrong but only you can prevent forest fires. Quote
dajogejr Posted May 3, 2006 Report Posted May 3, 2006 I agree with above... You'll end up with 270 to 290 Mains, stock pilot, 1.0 to 2.0 out on the air screw... You may have to lean your needle out one clip (one towards the blunt end) if it doesn't feel right in the middle. V Force richens the middle circuit...you may have to lean your needle accordingly. Over 300 mains and you'll be rich keeping your airbox. Quote
Hilarious Posted May 4, 2006 Report Posted May 4, 2006 Over 300 mains and you'll be rich keeping your airbox. 511313 I dont know about that. He did type "no lid." I ran 330's with no lid at 100 to 200' above sea level and my bike wasnt too rich. Quote
dajogejr Posted May 4, 2006 Report Posted May 4, 2006 Each bike is own... I've jetted two recently with airbox and no lid, 280 and 280. Jetted my own (pre Cub) and my buddies with K&N Clamp Ons, 330 and 340... We're only 300 or so feet higher than you... Plugs are the only way to tell... Quote
