ogre03 Posted April 27, 2006 Report Posted April 27, 2006 I don't know about quads, but with a car a lot of white smoke is gasket. There are three jets in your carbs. The pilot is up to 1/8 throttle neelde from there to 3/4 then main. So if you ride you bike around for a while the check the plugs it won't tell you which circuit it running lean or rich. To check the main you have to run the bike wide open for ten seconds or so, then pull the clutch and shut her down. Check the plug as she sits, extra plugs are nice so you can swap them out and ride it back to the truck. Quote
