Hi again, going tomorrow to hopefully buy a 03 Banshee.

It may seem like such a simple ask but please with all the experienced people on here i would like to know if you have a maintenance routine for when you finished riding??

How often do you change the filter/plug/tran oil etc??

I want to keep my bike in as good a dhape for as long as possible!

Thanks for your help!!

Id suggest a Kand N for easy cleaning and re-oiling. I do the tranny oil like every 3-4 times I go riding depending on the type of riding that was done. After a dune trip, id change it every time.

pick up a Clymers manual for it. all of chapter 3 is devoted to lubrication, maintenance and tune-ups. it should give give you a real good idea as to what should be done at what time and how to do it.

Here's my own routine:

Plugs: as needed or once/year

filter: clean after every trip

oil: change after every trip

chassis lubrication: once every 4 trips

check tire pressure: every trip

lube cables: every 4 trips

coolant change: once/year (never had to just change it, I've always ended up needing to drain it before that).

Brake fluid: As needed or 1-2 times per year

Well said. It all depends on your riding and how you want to treat your shee.
