+4 timing

I would run higher octane. Once you get to 160-165 you have to fun race fuel and since you advanced the timing also you should be running race fuel. You may get away with 100LL, but you will need to check your plugs and pay attention to the motor. The 100LL may even be too low, but I think that someone else will chime in if this is wrong. If you step up to race fuel it is usually 110 octane, and with your increased pressure you are going to need the higher octane and your engine will run cooler too. I'm running 93 octane with the following mods.

Ported and polished

prolite pistons

reed spacers

power reeds

18cc domes

procircuit pipes

 

I had a adjustable timing plate on but when i started mine after the rebuild its so freakin sick that i didnt need to advance it.Throttle response from a idle to wide open is an instant crack of the whip without any hessitation :evil:
