00tbanshee Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 the mods are .060 over weisco pistons, milled head .035, mild port job, polished exhaust port, rad valve reeds and cages ported cages,t5 pipes lightened flywheel. i was wondering there r 340 mains in it with 25 pilot and dyno needles in the 4th clip it starts alright but i been seeing on here that alot of people are running bigger pilots should i try n bump up a size or 2? dajogejr Posted April 19, 2006 Report Posted April 19, 2006 Stock pilots are fine...340 sounds about right, depending on your porting... You may need to put the dyno needles on the 3rd clip (you do have Dynojet needles...the ones with 6 grooves, right?)...4th is stock, but aftermarket reed cages often call for one leaner needle setting...
