pro design Cool Head

hey

 

im about to order the cool head for my 94 what dome size is stock and what compressiion are the other sizes

 

for example..

 

18cc = 160psi and what compression can you still run on pump gas.

Don't buy the pro-design. PM dlnoss and get a Noss head. He will give you a discount for being a member, and can answer any question you have about your specific elevation, what fuel to run, etc. And you don't have to change the studs out w/a noss head.

prodesign and the noss are good heads ... but here is food for thought, with the prodesign you have to change the head studs "no biggie", but with the noss it uses stock studs ... both are good but if i go with another head it will be a noss .... 22cc domes are stock .. ya should be able to get away with 20cc domes and run pump gas

just like wicked said the only difference between the two heads is the studs and the pd head has o rings that go on each stud.. internally they use the same domes ect..

I believe 24cc is stock.

Noss has o rings that go on each stud too. I just put new o rings on mine yesterday.

cool thanks for the help.. I had just found a prodesign cool head for $239 from Rockymountainatv.com and I have ordered from them before... very good place to deal with. Changing the studs doesnt bother me either.

 

Noss head you guys sugest? who makes that. Where do I find one and what is the price like?

oh ok then i must be thinking of the trinity heads that only have the o rings on the domes, and between the water jackets..

 

you could also pickup a used head in decent to good condition for around 120-160 bucks tipically..

 

and if you can get away with pulling the studs (if thats something that makes someone nervouse) i would deffinitly go with a nossmachine head instead..
