sheefreak Posted April 10, 2006 Report Posted April 10, 2006 You could go w/a thirteen tooth sprocket for a cheap helper. If you want some serious low end, get some PT mids, bump your compression, a two into one carb kit, and if you want to get extreme, get some low end porting. Quote
bansheeseat$$ Posted April 10, 2006 Report Posted April 10, 2006 Hello,Try going to a 13-42 sprocket set up,Will help bottom end. Quote

98bonerSTOCKshee Posted April 10, 2006 Report Posted April 10, 2006 I run a 13 front and a 44 rear lose alot of the topend but in the woods and stuff it's sweet.. Lighten the flywheel, also helped get past the bottom alot quicker..($70) I have Toomeys and I get hardly any low end sputter... I usually keep it above that part of the throttle anyhow. Use the bump bump throttle technique myslef... Other than the flywheel, the T-5's, weisco Superlights and the cool head with 22cc domes I am stock... Out at the dunes I would just run out of gears, I was taking off in 3rd while drag racing I had to go back to 14 in the front , but in the woods I run the tight trails usually in 2nd and 3rd... Quote
Capone Posted April 10, 2006 Report Posted April 10, 2006 If you're getting into the sport seriously, larger displacement + more compression = more torque, more torque = more low end. Quote
Wallrat Posted April 10, 2006 Report Posted April 10, 2006 If u got the money to spend your best bet for low end are the above mentioned mods and a stroker. Course that's several $g's Quote
00tbanshee Posted April 11, 2006 Report Posted April 11, 2006 u could also bump your timing up take the timing plate off and slit the 3 holes so u can turn it clockwise about 1/8 in that is free hp Quote
