joker149999 Posted April 8, 2006 Report Posted April 8, 2006 (edited) i have a 2000 Banshee, i got rid of the tors on it and put carb tops on, but i still can't get it too idle with them idle screw's i have tried adjusting the cable the idle screw's and can't seem too get it right any idea's? it has not idled since i put them carb tops on........... I had the same problem with mine, so i took everything apart again and grinded the shit out of both of them until it was even with the bowl. If you already shaved it enough you might want to make sure your slides aren't backwards and your crossover tube is in. good luck Quote
RedRustler Posted April 8, 2006 Report Posted April 8, 2006 you also need to pull the slides out turn them up side down and make sure you didnt install your throttle cable holder backwards . if you did you will see a hole on the bottom of the slide which makes it suck to much air. i installed the moose direct caps and cables and it works very well remove your air box and filters so you can see well into the carbs make sure your slides both work at the same exact time with adjust ments made from the cap tops then i would over set the idle a little then back it down to your liking. just dont adjust your idle from the thumb lever .
