biggun6ss Posted April 6, 2006 Report Posted April 6, 2006 That all looks good but I don't think you will need that big of a pilot jet. Quote
sheefreak Posted April 6, 2006 Report Posted April 6, 2006 I agree. I would think 27.5 or 30 at the largest at your altitude. Never jetted rockets, but I would think you would definately be safe at that starting pint for the mains. I think you are going to find you are a little rich, but that is ok to start. Quote

midknight Posted April 7, 2006 Author Report Posted April 7, 2006 Thanks for the input! i will go with the 3.0 pilots instead. Is the stock needle ok or do most people change them? also on the jetting faq page it says to go one clip leaner on the neddle for aftermarket reeds but if the reeds flow more air then why would that be? And if stock position is 3rd clip and i move it one clip richer for the other mods and one clip leaner for reeds then i am in stock location Quote
biggun6ss Posted April 8, 2006 Report Posted April 8, 2006 Try some 340's for the mains, clip on the 4th position, and 30 pilots. Take it out for a ride and look at your plugs. The jetting fact page just gives a good starting point on where you should be, then it is up to you to fine tune your machine. Quote
