racer Posted April 5, 2006 Report Posted April 5, 2006 I want some body armor for my ride and I want some opinions. Im pretty set on PRM unless someone can give really good reasons not to go that route. So lets hear what you have to say. Quote
Flip73 Posted April 5, 2006 Report Posted April 5, 2006 I've got the PRM swing arm and chassis skid plates and can't say enough good about them. I ride in the hills of W MA, some of the trails get pretty nasty. Most of the ground is rock and roots. Went all last summer on one set of skids - plenty of scratches and gouges, but no failed welds and no major bends. I got the .250 swing arm skid, .190 for the chassis...IMO pretty good stuff. Quote
korndawg Posted April 5, 2006 Report Posted April 5, 2006 I've got a friend of mine that ran a PRM skid plate on his Suzuki for a long time with no complaints. They seem to make a pretty solid product. Quote
BenBB Posted April 5, 2006 Report Posted April 5, 2006 Another vote for PRM, great guys to deal with and awesome products; I've put my belly plate and swingarm z-plate through hell and back and they've held up perfect. Quote
PUSH THE THROTTLE Posted April 5, 2006 Report Posted April 5, 2006 (edited) I run a PRM belly skid and an Armadillo .250 swinger skid. And am very happy with them. I went with the armadillo because it was cheaper but the quality is very nice. Here's a link as to why I went with the Armadillo: http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...c=52168&hl=skid Also the Armadillo required no modification in order to fit my Quicksand -2 swinger.
