which filter to run with 35PWKS

I got some new 35mm pwk carbs and k&n filters, running T5's. the filters lay against the pipes. is anybody running the same set up, what filter did you go with to clear the exhoust pipes.

i got my filters from esr in cal. they got the angled flange they clear my big bore sheares just fine

they are an angled filter.

You can also wrap one of those big ass zip ties around the both of em to pull them towards each other.

I had the same problem with my t5's hitting my filters(my filters are f**kin huge!!!!!!!!!)

 

I got a piece of rubber hose- the kind you use for pipe clamps-and sliped it over the section where the pipe was touching the filter-then i used a zip tie to keep it in place-

 

works pretty well for me-

 

P.S. my filters are also the type with the angled boot

go to tsracing.com look under s&b filters and they make an 8 inch long one that is at 20deg so you can aim it. They are very nice and are 10 bucks each. They also sell the outerwear for another 10 bucks.
