I am getting ready to but my banshee back together and happened to break 2 of the studs off in the top half of the case. I am going to have to drill them out but was wondering what you think would be better to put in for new threads a Helicoil or a keensert?

What kind of torque will the helicoil hold?

I know that the nut on the stud gets torqued to 20ft/lbs.

Someone told me that a helicoil isnt good for much over that.

Thanks for any help

i have done helicoils in cylinders and had them pull right out, i used threaded inserts, industrial loctited in and they never moved, never had a problem.
