Ok guys, I need a few options here. I'm thinking about getting some port work done on the Shee but its already got 80 over bore on it. Now I know that with that as it is, Wiseco only makes a .100 over piston so that leaves me with one more bore providing I don't really screw somethign up and it needs more than .020 to clean up.

What are my options and how do they stack up economically?

Port and forget about it?

Resleeve and port?

Big bore sleeve and port?

I'm about as broke as it gets but I can scrounge enough to have some work done but I can't be like some of these guys and say "screw it, buy a Cheetah"

Can I port it then later resleeve it and just match the sleeves up to the cylinder ports?

I have also heard of some people over boring Banshee cylinders and putting in Blaster standard (heard of big bores too) sleeves and using Blaster pistons? How about that. I wouldn't mind having a 400cc Shee (480cc on b.bs)and still being able to use over the counter parts in case of problems. Do-able?

if the bore is good right now, go ahead and get it ported, then after expect to resleeve the cylinders later.. the bb sleeves cut back on the already small transfer areas in the stock cylinders.. you can make the smaller/stock sleeved motors run harder than the stock stroke big bore because of this..

Yea you can port it,but I would not spend a fortune on the port job at this point.Check out Twister cranshaft racing,I know he gave me a good price once to resleeve. And once you get it ported you will wanted it jetted right the first time before you hold it wide open all the time.Run good mix oil,and keep your air cleaners clean and oiled. If you maintain your shee it will hold up good. Also stick to Wiseco pistons.

I wouldn't even mess w/those cylinders. There is a guy on here that was selling some cyl's ported by Tyson, which he later found out from the guy he bought them from on PS that they are by A&S(just as good). I think he wanted $300 for them. I would find out what bore they are at and go w/them. A port job is going to cost that much or more, and then you'll have no room for bad luck. One failed bearing, piston, etc., and you're done.
