I believe my jetting where it needs to be, my oil mix is at 40:1, I don't ride super aggressive but I don't granny the thing either and it still seems like I don't get much life out of my spark plugs before they foul out. Would something like this help out? Is it worth the money? (About $150) The ad reads... "GYT-R Digital Ignition Performance Module. Plug-in replacement delivers hotter spark, and improved fuel burn for better throttle response, more horsepower and torque, and easier starting."

NGKBR8ES... Where can u buy the AC's & how much do they run?

If you are fouling plugs either your jetting is wrong, or you are using too cold of a plug.  If you are using a br8es then your jetting is off.  You shouldn't foul plugs under normal conditions

I am a newbie so I could be off somewhat on my jetting... it seems to run pretty hard but this is my first shee so I have nothing to compare it to. I am in TN so the trails can get rather challenging at times and several minutes may go by when I am not running much harder than idle, could this be a problem as well?

Thanks guys for your input so far.

Yeah, riding in trails could be part of the problem. Sounds like a rich main jet, and since you're not wide open all the time it takes a while to foul the plug. Could be the needle too, but more than likely you would notice it not running right on the trails if the needle was too rich.

What jetting do you have in it right now? (main jet size, pilot jet size, needle clip position, along with your mods).

I get my Ac's from Auto Value.. But you can get the Ac's that are cross ref. from the ngk's ( AC R41XL) from any auto store that has a AC sign in there window.. If they dont have them in stock (They wont) then they will order them for you.. they run about $5 a plug..

All mods were done by the previous owner so I don't know what main & pilot jet size I am currently running. I have been putting off tearing too far into the carbs due to my lack of experiance with them. I have adjusted clip position for the weather change and done a little work to better sync the slides but thats as far as I have been. The plugs usually appear black & occasually foul which means too rich right? But after adjusting the needle clip & slides it runs pretty hard in fact I sometimes get the feeling that I am pushing close to the lean threshold cause I will get a few drops of coolant out the overflow. I don't know I guess I need to bite the bullet and get into the carbs and find out what size they are and the jet sizes.

Anyway here is a list of the mods & I am at around 1,700ft abouve sea level.

-Keihin carbs

-V force reed cages w/vforce reeds

-2 to 1 intake w/foam filter and Filter skins washable filter cover

-pro design intake manifold

-pro design cool head w/domes

-Toomey T5 pipes and silencers

-High flow impeller

-Hinson clutch basket

-Barnett race clutch
