I bought it and it only runs on the right cylinder its gettin spark and gas (I think) but I think the reeds are bad (thats wat i was told be the previious owner) can they just "lock up"

Congrats on ur purchase. :clap:

Get in there and check those reeds man, and tell us what you found.

If you've got spark and fuel, the only thing left is compression. Might wanna check that out. Spark plugs and the choke cross over tube between your carbs.

also if youve ran it with just one piston you might have a load of carbon build up on the one thats not firing..

Well I know reeds can break and get gummed up. On our older Yamaha sled, we had a friend of the family take a look at it and the reeds were all boogered up. He clean them, addressed a few other problems and things cleared right up.
