rd or rz 6th gear

I did a search but could not find it but I remember someone saying that a 6th gear out of one of the street bikes would fit in the banshee. The banshee 6th gear is like an overdrive I think and I cant really use it in the sand. Does anyone know what the ratio the street bike gear is and what it is out of?

I don't remember the ratio but it is pretty close to a stock banshee.It is geared a little higher yet than a banshee so if the banshee 6th is to much for sand the other woulnt be any better itll actualy be a little worse.

The bike you are talking about is an RZ350.The whole tranny will drop right in.The only gear that is lower is first.It is alot lower than a banshee but it is a big jump between first and second,compared to stock.

This should give you an idea of the differences, this is the difference in mph at 10,000 rpm through all the gears. You can see 1st is slower on the rz and just how much faster it is 3-5. 6th is slower than a banshee so this is what you want leadfoot.

the stock banshee 6th gear is a (.875) Are you saying that the rz350 is 1.334? If that is the case then the rz 6th gear is compairable to the banshee 4th gear.

I just called the dealership. Do I need both pinion 6th gear and output 6th gear. Can you tell me what part number or numbers I need?
