lowriderb Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 if your out in the dunes your usually not riding right next to someone that could bump you.. and usually your standing up with weight on your feet and foot pegs which shouldnt slip off like that.. i had a set and couldnt stand them so they got 86'd about 3 months after i bought them.. Finally paid off last year when I hit an unexpected dropoff in Pismo and my foot slipped off the peg. It was the first time I've ever had my boot come off the peg unintentionally so its not like I'm just lame and can't keep my hands and arms inside the vehicle. Anyway nothing happenned to me, just landed all cock-eyed with one foot on the nerfs. I think you'd be nuts not to run em. A guy I used to ride with always made fun of me for my paranoia w/ nerfs. He can't ride anymore and needs a cane to walk. Doesn't make fun anymore... Quote

I don't think AC makes propeg w/heel guard for Banshee. I have IMS pegs which are huge compared to stock pegs. They suck for kicking the bike over. Maybe it's just my size 14s. Quote

Just trying to find one's that replace the stock peg's and are wider and fit without to many problem's... I alway's wear my Alpinestars Tech 7's, but why take a chance on safety??? I see a lot of rider's @ the Dune's that wear sneaker's and they think they are cool, will see how cool they are when they chew up thier feet and leg's...
