doughboy2k3 Posted February 11, 2006 Report Posted February 11, 2006 I have been adjusting it fot a while, I give up. Shee runs stong hits powerband half way threw powerband (WOT) it breaks up.Everything below WOT is perfect. Original setup: 32/1 ratio k&n , 130 comperession both sides , no air lid, stock pipes, new plugs,280 main jet, forth clip down from top of needle, stock pilot, at sea level,40 deg F still had problem.. New setup: K&n (clean and oil done) no lid , New plugs again, t5 toomeys, 330 main, 3rd grove on needle (also tried forth from top same issue) , Its hard to test plugs do to residential negiborhood, Pulled them and electrode is black. Had same problem with breakup on both setups.I love the t5s With information gathered how would you setup your carbs.. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Walt Quote
banshee tuner Posted February 11, 2006 Report Posted February 11, 2006 (edited) I'm running 310 mains with my mods and am on the rich side. Try pulling the choke out and see if it gets worse, if it does your too rich. Edited February 11, 2006 by banshee tuner Quote
lowriderb Posted February 11, 2006 Report Posted February 11, 2006 it sounds like your rich, if your plugs look black then that confirms it.. with gas your plugs should be a dark chocolate milk color.. Quote
Cotton eyed Joe Posted February 11, 2006 Report Posted February 11, 2006 Sounds like your rich. Have you tried dropping your main down one size? Quote

pimpeinkc Posted February 11, 2006 Report Posted February 11, 2006 unless you are bored out i would go back to the 280 mains Quote
