1000dollabill Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 it's like most setups, those that have 'em love 'em. i'm doing suspention with this years tax return, and probably porting and a 4mil stroker next year. really want to see what a 2-1 carb does on a stroker. Quote
Nobodycares Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 I had one I was mixed. I liked it for the Dune riding but I don't do that a lot. Michigan has one legal dune area. I do more woods/trail riding with more throttle up and down. the return spring was a pretty stiff and my throttle arm pumped up pretty bad, but It may be different if you are using a twist. Quote
Wallrat Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 What kinda carb was that? I've never heard of a single being harder than duals. I think singles are a better way to go for 90% of the people out there, but you lose a c-hair's worth of power on top so most people right them off without ever trying it out. Quote

It was an old setup on my 87 and I know they switched carbs to a different one. I think if it was on a twist throttle it would of been a lot better. Quote
MYquadsFaster Posted February 9, 2006 Report Posted February 9, 2006 i just got a trinity 35 mm cv intake and im all bout it. i have a large power increase on top and bottom, and it takes 5 minutes to jet, both cylinders are perfectly synch....i love it and i recommend it ...i do mostly trail riding.....opens everything up too more room to work with Quote
