  1. I did mine using the toomey website instructions. I copied this from there. If you need more go there and read the whole thing. Make sure to use a good cutting oil when tapping just to be safe. Procedure: Locate the idle screw bosses on the outside of the carbs. After you have identified these bosses you can remove the carburetors completely from the machine. You can just unscrew the carb tops and pull out the slide assy. complete and leave them on the bike. Then, you must disassemble the carb bodies completely. The left carb has its boss on the left side and the right one on its right. If you look on the right side of the left carb and the left side of the right carb, there will appear to be a drilled and tapped hole that looks very much like an idle screw hole. I'm not sure what these holes are for, but rest assured, these are NOT the Idle screw holes. If you are not sure which hole is which, call us and we will help explain it. The ones you want are not threaded.
  2. I ride at he dunes a couple times a year, but for the most part I trails up-north. Traverse city, Mio, Lazern(spelling?),that has some very fast trails and miles and miles. would be nice to have one of those oversized gas tanks there.Drummmond Island once, that only lasted about an hour and I lacerated a front tire. Lots of rocks and some pretty sharp. I used to go to the mounds alot since its pretty close but It is a orv park so you pretty much will know it like the back of your hand in no time.. espesially if you go there like I used to every Fri. Sat and Sun for about 2 years, then I started making a trip every weekend for a while, now its a little slower since my bro, and riding pals kind of got married and have a new bosses. haha...
  3. Ditto.. Yeah the shipping for me was about 8 or 9 dollars, so I figured I would eat up more gas money that that. And its the same price for UPS or Fedex if you need it on Sat. thats what I did. Man I'm kinda glad I dont live that close.
  4. Excellent seller.... Parts were in great shape and shipped out quickly. Thanks
  5. It was a setup from trinity cv setup with kehin PJ series (dont remember size). It was an old setup on my 87 and I know they switched carbs to a different one. I think if it was on a twist throttle it would of been a lot better.
  6. I had one I was mixed. I liked it for the Dune riding but I don't do that a lot. Michigan has one legal dune area. I do more woods/trail riding with more throttle up and down. the return spring was a pretty stiff and my throttle arm pumped up pretty bad, but It may be different if you are using a twist.
  7. There was a couple of us that were planning on going. Hope to see you there.
  8. Also (magic) they are in Michigan and I see thats where you are also. I justed called them and I had it in one day. They seem to have pretty good prices on all there parts. Where do you ride? Mounds?
  9. I just bought the whole deal from Magic Racing 59.95 (caps, cable, idle kit)
