Polish Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 I have FMF SSTs on my '02. I have about 5 different problems with them. All of which I DO NOT have with my T5s on my '06. 469559[/snapback] If I recall last time we rode (you behind me)......you did have a problem w/ your t-5's on your 06.........and that was that you havent even hit the powerband on them damn things Quote
banshee tuner Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 They are not a drag pipe, but an all around great pipe for riding and respond well to mods. They are good for the trail riding I do and pull real hard on top end. Quote
scotts96fast Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 T-5's are great for open running.I had them for years, but went to fatty's.night and day difference for woods/trails running.Way to much cluthing for trails with the 5'. Quote
hittintrees srh Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 I love my T5's- the only thing im not too fond of is the lightswitch power-but thats a two stroke for ya.. Quote
Lethaface Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 (edited) When i bought my banshee in december, it had T5's on it..The only problem out of them was the finish was terrible..This MAY have been from lack of care from the previous owner, but there was rust everywhere..I never had that problem with my LRD and that pipe took some punishment.. Wallrat Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 FMF's have a bit smoother transition into the powerband and come on a c-hair earlier, but they also top out lower. They've got a tad more low end than the t5's. Unfortunately FMF quality is nowhere near toomey's. Can't get something for nothing I guess. Quote
