crazywheelerman365 Posted February 3, 2006 Report Posted February 3, 2006 Ok here's my question , I live in West Virginia so you could imagine what kind of terrian we ride in ! muddy , rocky , dusty , you name it , we got it ! I've riddin for years and nobody I've riddin with has removed the front fenders ! But it seems like everybody on her is assbackwards ? I would like to remove my front fenders but I was wondering ? Do you get a face full of rocks ? mudd ? ect.. I just keep imagining going down a backroad and getting a rock stuck in my melon ! So what do you all think ? Cut it ? Or not ? .. Thanks in advance.. greg_banshee Posted February 3, 2006 Report Posted February 3, 2006 i've had mine cut since i bought it & i love it, sure ya get a lot dirty'er but hell ya that fun. but i'd say buy an already cut front fender (ebay or someone on the HQ here might have an extra) and see if u like it if u don't ... at least ya didn't cut the fenders u like all to shit eh just my opinion Quote
kidfla Posted February 3, 2006 Report Posted February 3, 2006 Hell if it was just me i'd leave them on. But seeing your from West Virginia you probably only have 1 tooth in your mouth anyway. Quote

Gargamel Posted February 3, 2006 Report Posted February 3, 2006 only girls ride with front fenders but a good way to see if you will like it or not is to just take off the front fenders and go for a ride with them off. If you like it- cut them while they are off if not put them back on- no harm no foul Quote
banshee tuner Posted February 3, 2006 Report Posted February 3, 2006 (edited) I would try a ride without them before I cut considering the type of riding you do. Edited February 25, 2006 by banshee tuner Quote
1996yfs200 Posted February 3, 2006 Report Posted February 3, 2006 it really doesnt throw a lot of crap. well mud and stuff it will like when you turn, but hell its ridin. i mean if i wanted to stay clean, id do somethin else. Quote

Dinner Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 (edited) I cut mine not to long ago...was out in the mud in the morning, cut them, went riding again, i actually think i get less crap on me, more comes from the back tires...and i live on a gravel road and iv never had any rocks or anything come up and hit me ..so i say cut them! G-MC Posted February 11, 2006 Report Posted February 11, 2006 Looks good. I don't care what I'm riding in, I just don't think a banshee looks right without the front fenders chopped off. Quote
