njbanshee Posted January 25, 2006 Report Posted January 25, 2006 I have the 450 shocks on alba +2 a-arms. The setup was great till i had the motor worked. Now i can't keep the fron end down, even with a +2 swingarm. I was hoping that if i dropped the front it would help me out. What are my options? Quote
aguita Posted January 25, 2006 Report Posted January 25, 2006 yeah dropping the front will make it a lil harder to get up..when i didnt had my lowering kit i could wheelie all day long now is harder but u can do it..also a longer swingarm will help! Quote
Shee-Male Posted January 25, 2006 Report Posted January 25, 2006 There are lowering kits available on ebay, they just move the shock out at the lower control arm. Your other option is..enjoy the wheelies, after all its a PERFORMANCE QUAD!, better yet it's a BANSHEE, get used to it Quote
Speedie Posted January 26, 2006 Report Posted January 26, 2006 Just wondering why you couldn't just go up a gear. Quote
BigRed350x Posted January 26, 2006 Report Posted January 26, 2006 Just get one of those little cheap swingers off ebay that are a plus 4 or 6 for $200 Quote
njbanshee Posted January 26, 2006 Author Report Posted January 26, 2006 I don't wanna change my swingarm, cause it is an alba chrome +2. It wasn't cheap. I also would like to beable to trail ride a bit and hit some jumps. +2 is as far back as i wanna go for now. The 450 shocks make the front stand up a little higher than normal. Thats why i'm looking to lower the front. Quote
badassbanshee479 Posted January 26, 2006 Report Posted January 26, 2006 did you try and losen the jam nut oon the shock and back some of the tension off of the shock?? did this on my buddys bike with 450 shocks lowered it right down rides a hell of a lot better too cause the shocks are not so stiff Quote
