BLACKBANSHEE04 Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 Which pipes will give better top end with ported clyinders and i was wondering should i get cpi high rev or toomey 5 racing pipes. THANKS Quote
ellison445 Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 Depends on who ported the cylinders, You should ask your builder Quote
BLACKBANSHEE04 Posted January 23, 2006 Author Report Posted January 23, 2006 Which is better for top end Quote
speedfr3ak Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 Ellison couldn't be more right. Call the guy who ported your jugs. I have CPI inframes and got top ended by the same stroke bike with t-5's. But generally I think CPI's have a better top end than t-5's. This was at sand mountain Utah. Quote
badassbanshee479 Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 ask your builder, shearers will yeild the most top end if the porting is done right. cpis right behind them Quote
BLACKBANSHEE04 Posted January 24, 2006 Author Report Posted January 24, 2006 What is the size of a 68mm piston because i heard that banshees tend to overheat when u bore .80 over Quote
BigRed350x Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 I run T5's and get beat on top quite a bit by equal banshees with CPI pipes. The T5's give you a little bit better mid range than the CPI's. T5's are a good all around pipe, but for something on the top end I would go shearer, CPI, or rocket/grr pipes. Quote
