peterlocal22 Posted January 11, 2006 Report Posted January 11, 2006 is it the same for all year banshee, the faster you go the brighter they are. Thats how it is on my 1998 banshee, however i just picked up a 2004 and put the lights on for a minute for the first time and they seem to stay bright. Am I just imagining this? Quote
Cotton eyed Joe Posted January 11, 2006 Report Posted January 11, 2006 Thats how it is when all you have to run off of is a stator, instead of a battery. Everything is normal. Quote
peterlocal22 Posted January 11, 2006 Author Report Posted January 11, 2006 Hey thanks for the relpy. The thing is the lights on the 2004 stay bright all the time even when its not being revved. just when its idleing the lights are bright. on my 98 the lights die out when the bike is just ideling, because of the stator. the 2004 stay bright like there on a battery? fast87 Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 maybe your 04 has a higher idle...that could be it ~Mark~ Quote
NotsafeFWD Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 maybe your 04 has a higher idle...that could be it ~Mark~ 458257[/snapback] Or possibly it's already been converted.... Is the rest of the bike stock? Quote
Wallrat Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 I agree on the idle. The only other thing it could be is an aftremarket flywheel. Trailtech and ricky stator both make one with stronger magnets so that they won't dim as much at lower rpms. Quote
