RNBRAD Posted January 9, 2006 Report Posted January 9, 2006 Clean the carbs!!! The Wal-Mart 2 cycle oil is ok to use. Don't let the label full you, it's made by Conoco and they have one of the best dyno 2 cycle oils available. Quote
banshee tuner Posted January 9, 2006 Report Posted January 9, 2006 I run amsoil and am very pleased with it at 40:1 ratio. Some run more oil and some lees but you can't go wrong with 40:1. I also run bel ray mc1 for a long time and it did well. Quote
thegroup Posted January 10, 2006 Report Posted January 10, 2006 I run Castor 927 at 40:1 in my 87 LT250R and im pleased with it. Kindof smells like race fuel when it burns This also is an idea, in a more serious note, could be time for a rebuild with it being a 2-stroke, just a thought. Quote
sp1tekiller Posted January 10, 2006 Report Posted January 10, 2006 That's a sweet lookin quad you've got there! I bet it flies I realy like Klotz R-50 and so do my bikes. I usually mix 40:1, but when I do high speed WOT riding I sometimes mix it 32:1. Quote

I haven't been able to run anybody on it yet, but my wife's cousin had a Raptor 660 that was bored and stroked to 700, high compression, etc., and my bike feels faster to me. Unfortunately, his bike got stollen the night before I brought mine home . If I can get it running good again, I'm going to take it down to a dyno here in town. It should be around 80-90hp I think. Thanks again. Brandon Quote
