2 stock banshee's with just a white bro. boost bottle and k&n..

my buddy's going with t6 because the yam. shop said so...

what do you think. ive been searching through old topics for months. sounds like t5's..whats the diff. performance wise with t5 and dmc 916..thanks for the help

I haven't ridden the 916's but I can comment on the toomeys...

The t6's will make more power on an otherwise stock bike, but if you get some porting done the t5's will respond better. IMO the t5's are a much better buy since they're still a great all-around pipe, and compliment future mods. Tell ur buddy to stop listenning to the stealership and talk to us instead.

I would also suggest T5's. Like wallrat said, the T6's do make slightly more power on an otherwise stock engine, but the T5's will come out ahead down the road if you have the bike ported etc.

My first post here, I have been a banshee owner since 1989. I would agree with Wallrat. Go with the t5's they are much more friendly to mods. My buddy bought t6's thinking he was getting the latest and greatest. All he got was the latest. He now is running a set of my old rusty t5's

defenitly go with the t-5's there like a hundred bucks cheeper and while sand draging with just pipes and airfilter and jets agains someone with t-6's pipes filters and jets i won him by just a quad length they give more power with just stock but who leaves there banshee stock anymore just my opinon hope this helps

either way toomeys are a great pipe

if you do alot of trail riding you might want to go with the 916's for better low end than the t-5's, plus they sound awesome and are a little cheaper. the T-5's are a great all around pipe and might have a slightly better top end than the 916's but both are good choices.

Listen dude, couple of months ago i had the same problem, figuring out which pipe to get, i was like asking every one T-5s or T-6s and even Dmc. I got too stressed out that i thought of it. they all make an overall improvement from the stock, then i decided to get Pro-Curcuits. They sound great and have good preformance and i Really love them :headbang: my cousin has a T-5 and he asked me if I wanna trade. If i was you, i would chose the Pros

We test DMC and T5 on dyno on same banshee and it almost the same performance on bottom end and top end...For the price I think DMC are the best and 916 sounds sick. Before I had T5 and 916 my favorite are 916

the 916 are pretty wicked sounding. and perform very well for a all round pipe.
