Hey all. I just repaired a crack on my frame just above the forward left motor mount - just above the reinforcing sleeve for the 2 bolt holes. Since then I've seen identical cracks on 2 other banshee frames! Its really hard to see unless u get your eyeball right on top of it. Here's a picture of the exact location (sorry but its on a modified frame):

If anyone does find a crack, post up your weight and whether u run nerfs or not. All the parties involved are big (200+) guys with nerf bars. Engine size doesn't seem to be a factor. I wanna narrow down the cause.

that makes sense. most nerf bars attach there. puttin pressure on it like comin down hard off a jump or pounding thru the trails could easily do that. especially on these wonderfully engineered banshee frames :D

Alot of people think that there nerfs are like big foot pegs. They are not meant to be used that way. You gotta keep your feet on the pegs when landig hard from jumps and shit or else you are putting tremendous amounts of stress on parts that were not designed for it!
