what ever you choose make sure it's for wet clutches, not just motor oil.

i say gearsaver or any type motorcycle tranny oil.it has been discussed many times on here you should not use automotive type fluids in the tranny .they contain detergents that can cause glazing on the clutches and that leads to clutch problems.

I've had real good luck with Honda gear oil 85/90w. It seems to hold it's color well i.e. doesn't get dirty quickly & my first clutch in my 1990 lasted about 14 years before it had to be replaced. B)

yamalube is 20/50 so I would say use what you want, I use a 80w Amoco fully syn gear oil in mine.

All I've ever used in my banshee is Honda 80w90. When I finally replaced my clutch after 7 years worth of use everything else looked like it was brand new.
