Ultimateduner Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 Well it all started yesterday, at glamis. I pulled over during the ride and stopped because my Umi handel bars broke in half. When we got them together I got on my banshee and pushed the throttle while trying to start it. The throttle wouldn't even move, then we checked the cables and nothing, finally we kept pushing until it just started moving again. So I tryed to start it and my banshee kept making noise like the throttle was wide open when its not. So aften 10 mins of kicking, we psuhed it down a hill and pop started it. From then on it starts normally, but doesn't feel like its running right, like one cylinder is only running at 1/2 power. Any ideas? Also I checked the plugs, nothing wrong with them. Quote
RNBRAD Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 Sounds to me as if one of your slides got stuck and you stretched the cable above one of your carbs trying to free it. Now your slides aren't balanced. Quote

banshee tuner Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 Probably need to replace the throttle cable. Quote
race-a-holic Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 Yeah, take off your air filters.Look into the carbs. and push the throttle to see if the slides move at the same time and the same distance. Quote
