Shee-Male Posted January 9, 2006 Report Posted January 9, 2006 trying to make legal or ILlegal? Never heard of an illegal dog. I read about a South African breed of dog known for taking down lions. Apparently White guys in Europe use them to scare the shit outta Africans so they are being banned there. 454537[/snapback] Here in Ontario Canada pit bulls are illigal! so are staff. terriers (basicly a pit anyways) and if you own one it has to be leashed and muzzeled at all times outdoors and owners face up to a 10,000 $ fine if the pit attacks someone. This is the same as it is in most of the UK. My suggestion is a BOXER best dogs on the planet!! super intelegent and tough but have a fantastic temperment especially aroud children! Quote
bobbybonilla Posted January 9, 2006 Report Posted January 9, 2006 (edited) You might like a Cane Corso, I have been hearing in the news lately a couple of dogfights including these dogs. Another one would be a Fila, they are a very large breed 200+lbs, and fast a lightning. They have a face like a grizzly bear. The second pic dog is 198lbs. "The correct Fila does have prey drive, and usually a VERY strong prey drive. Prey drive is best described as the instinct to seize a moving object; the desire to hold it is his mouth, and to possess and dominate it. This is an inherited trait and not learned behavior." "In Brazil they are used in a pack to trail Jaguar and to tree them for the hunter, or to kill the cat before the hunters arrive." Edited January 9, 2006 by bobbybonilla Quote

Those fucken mastiffs get huge! I wonder how Broke deals with the shit he has to shovel....... His dog weighs 200lbs. mine weighs 65lbs. I know I can pick up nearly a 5 gallon bucket of shit in about 5-6 weeks or so. Quote
