If you want more power changing pipes isn't the way to go about getting it. You'll end up paying $600 to gain 2hp and move you power band up or down 1000 rpm's. If you don't like your pipes that's fine, replace them, but if you are just looking to gain power for the price of new pipes you could get it ported and maybe even pick up a NOSS head.

I agree, try moding the motor alittle and see if thats good. In my opinion, (I've seen sst s and pro circuts race at the dunes), they seem about the same on a stock banshee. So I don't think you will be gaining anything with those. In my 15 years in the dunes I've seen one banshee with lrd pipes so i can't give you advice on those. I guess the best thing to do is keep the pipes, mod the motor, and when your ready for even more power change the pipes.(depending on the mods) :D

I agree w/ everyone else. Pipes just move the power curve. You will gain more peak high rev hp, but you will lose bottom end w/ the pc pipes...I couldn't tell you about the lrds, one of the very few pipes I haven't tried...get some cool heads, advance the timing +4, porting, etc...you'll be surprised how much more you can get. Your at the tip of the iceburg

my banshee is moded right now i have trinity head with 21cc dome and single carb 35mm advanced timing +3 and GYT-R CDI clean up port job lighted flywheel ported reed cages with power reeds . i tryed the LRD pipe and adjust it to the low power and the top end is much better than the FMF SST .

So are you riding trails and looking for more low end? I could be wrong, but that was what I was getting from your post. If so, try Paul Turner mids, or a 2 into 1 set up. If not, then I'm just stupid.

Ogre has a good question...Where exactly are you looking for more power? Are you happy w/ the top end you have now? Bottom end??
