87TwoStrokeShee
I have to rebuild my shee and i was wondering if it was worth the money to get a Big Bore 404 Sleeve and Piston kit. Im just wondering if its worth taking my jugs and having the sleeve installed and then rebuild the motor, for the hp ill get from it. Im in the total rebuilding stage right now, i have 34 mm carbs goin back on and a Hot Rod normal lenght crank. and with the 404 kit do i need to get a different head, like a cool head with different domes. Just wondering, ill be running CPI inframes or Rockets afterwards, and selling my TR6's Is the money worth it?
rocketboy
no ,luckily you got some of the required bolt on goods for stock version cheetah cub monoblock for huge gains id look at 358 or 392 cubs. if your gonna spend like $600 total for a 404 big bore engine kit might as well jsut add another 275$ and have some serious power with reliablity to boot Edited December 17, 2005 by rocketboy
lonestar
rocketboy is wright. It's not worth it today to resleeve your stock cylinders. I'd go with the cub
