BigRed350x Posted December 4, 2005 Report Posted December 4, 2005 I've never heard anything like that. Sounds like he was blowing smoke up your ass. I've never had a clutch slip simply because I changed my oil. I change my oil ever other ride and have never had any problems. Sounds to me like it is time to adjust your clutch. Quote
banshee tuner Posted December 4, 2005 Report Posted December 4, 2005 I had that happen when I changed mine one time. It only slipped in sixth gear wound out for the first couple of rides and then it stopped slipping and never happened again. Quote

That or get a new one with some stronger springs. Quote
banshee tuner Posted December 5, 2005 Report Posted December 5, 2005 So you think I still need to adjust my clutch even though it only slipped a couple of times and that has been 2 years ago, I don't think so. When you switch types of oil and there is still a small amount of the old oil they will react different. Quote
