1/2 a Banshee

Recommended Posts

1995 Banshee rebuilt carbs with 290's and 4th position on the needle.

FMF SST pipes and fiber reeds. Got it running but no pressure and lots of fuel

out of one side? One pipe gets nice and warm but the other is cold, It throws

alittle smoke but not the pressure the otherside puts out. One plug has good

burn and the other looks brand new. What could it be?

Did you sync the carbs?  Have you tried switching the spark plug wires to see if it stays on the same side?  Is fuel pouring out the overflow vent on the carb?

did you just rebuild the carbs? if so, was it running good before you rebuilt them? is the choke tube that runs between the carbs on?

I just went through the same problem with mine and it was the reeds. My reeds looked fine but must have been opening to much and flooding that side. My right side plug was wet with fuel but did not apear to be firing. Switch your reed cages from one cylinder to the other and see if your problem switches cylinders.
