SRP Ram Air Reed Cage

Saw these on Magic Racing's website and was just curious if anybody has tried these. They look like they would work pretty well. Says they claim a 6 hp gain over stock and a 1.5 hp gain over V-Force. Not to bad price wise either. Just sceptical as how good they really work. Anybody have any experience with these?

the mere fact ive never heard of them would make me leary of them. id stick with v force. or check PS, chances are someone there has tried them. maybe even dynoed them.

I was leary of them too just because i've never heard of them but they look like they would flow pretty good... . Never know.

Well, they look pretty good.....but more power than the v-forces? that a bold statment.

 

I'd just get some V2's or V3's. That way you know for sure there gunna make power.

they look like they would flow pretty good to me.they also are a heck of alot cheaper .might have to try a set.as for v-force reeds in my oppinion they are just an over priced product that is not worth the price they want.stock modded cages will flow just as good and perform as well.but then thats just my oppinion

you get the intakes and cages or just the cages?

I got a set. I love them. They are really well machined. Excellent quality IMO. Def worth the money. I didn't even touch them with the dremel. They looked that good.

Excellent smooth power through the entire RPM range. The bike just feels alot nicer. I had stock ported cages in before. I would say they are as good as V force if not better. But I have not used V force. I prefer Boyesen reeds for their two stage design.

Check out the snowmobile forums. Those guys really rag on V force, couse that's a different application.

I do with they would include a dyno sheet on them though if they are going to make those claims. I can't find any other info other than on magics site about them.
