Who's Getting One....?

I was just curious how many gamers out there were getting a 360. I missed all the pre-orders but I am thinking about going to Wal-Mart at 12 to get one, but I can't decide if I want to wait or not. How about everyone else???

Im fine with regular x-box.. Surely it isnt that much better. You know what? Youll buy the x-box 360, and 6 months later they will come out with a x-box 720 and youll be pissed. Ill stick with the old school.

360 looks nasty, no doubt about that. I'm going to wait it out until PS3 comes out, I think that will be a safer bet. It's supposed to be using better DVD laser quality for larger disks and stuff, I'm not too sure about the processor though. There are a few things about the 360 that I think are complete bullshit. The first is that they are coming out with two packages, the first is the basic package for 300 that comes with wired controllers and no Hard Drive so you can't even play Halo 1 or 2 on it. The other package is the one that everyone will be forced to buy for a fuckin whopping 400 bucks. It comes with wireless controllers, a 20GB HD that let's you play Halo 1 and 2 while you wait for 3 to come out and a month of free XBox Live... Wow.... The other bullshit part is that Halo 3 won't be out for another year or so. I'm gonna wait for the PS3 because you know they have been taking their time to make superior technology and will surely have a solid line-up when it comes out.

i know this will probably start a huge debate, but if i was you, i would just wait for the ps3 this spring, ive heard many times over that it blows the 360 out of the water...

Agreed...$400 is a little steep! I can't get over the fact that the games went up $10, WTF! $60 for a game, I am thinking about joing a rental place on the net for games...seems like the cheaper way out. When is PS3 coming out? Wait what am I saying...Xbox is far more superior

I don't have the numbers here in front of me, but I'm sure they are somewhere online, but the PS3 is supposed to be the fastest gaming console ever made by a factor of 10 or some shit like that.

I'm holding out for one of those. Can't wait to see the next installment of GTA.

Hopefully by then I'll have a 50" DLP.
