They make Great skid plates 432933[/snapback] I know they are good, my frame skid is a PRM but I'm asking about the skid for a -2 swinger and what will fit. mat Posted November 4, 2005 Report Posted November 4, 2005 On your armadillo did you have to cut it at all for the -2 swinger? Yes, a section out of the middle about 2" x 3". It was really simple, I used a torch and it only took a minute. It didn't affect the strength of the skid plate because I have been running it this way for over two years. Is yours the .250? Yes, I think that this is all that they make. What makes theirs really strong is that they use 2" x 2" x 1/4" formed angle under the rotor and sprocket instead of just formed plate. Are you running a -2 swinger? Yes, it is a stock swingarm that I shortened 2". Quote
