race-a-holic Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 (edited) I've found a set of cheetah cylinders with powervalves(400 c.c.).This will be with the stock stroke, and I'll most likely get it drag ported. It will be on alcohol too.I've already have ported stock cylinders with more horsepower to be gained with more porting.Am I better off with the cheetahs or will the stock cylinders with more porting be the better way to go?Need people's opinions that have tried both.Thanks. 00BANSHEE Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 cheetah cylinders with powervalves(400 c.c.). was what I was running. Race gas and MX ported was just over 80hp. You go with a drag port and alchy on these cylinders and you'll have one fast ass quad with good low end torque as well. Quote
NYUK Posted October 25, 2005 Report Posted October 25, 2005 the cheetas with a drag port jetted properly will be more efficient and reliable.depending on who ports them carbs reeds ect, you will be pushing 100 ponies. Quote
