Does anyone know if the Toomy silencers will work with FMF fatty headpipes? I want to be able to use the Toomey 2.5 hush kit but dont want the t-5's due to them being a top end pipe and I want a lower to mid pipe as much as possible.

I will only be running it when I am rideing with my family. I am usually in the lead and just feel bad about all the elders of the family having to listen to the obnoxious noise that this thing makes. They are put putters and ride to see the scenery and enjoy the outdoors. It is mostly just out of respect for them. Any other time and it will be normal open silencers.

LMAO, You guys are rough!! I gotta stay on there good side (the inlaws). They hook me up with a enclosed trailer anytime I want, A full heated shop to work on stuff, ect. So I figure making my machine non-earspliting when I am with them, it's the least I can do LOL. My father-in-law though is just chomping at the bit though to take the Shee out and open her up. They are way way cool people, I got lucky.

The two of those pipes have almost the exact same power characteristics, and it is not low-mid power.

toomeys sign on 900 rpms later than the fattys and fall off 900 rpm's later, I would say thats a big difference. if you want a more low to mid pipe as much as possible, the pt mids is your ticket, but if cost is an issue, the dmc's and fattys are pretty good in that area.
