bigboybanshee Posted October 22, 2005 Report Posted October 22, 2005 I'm running 18cc domes, drag ported by Grand River Racing, stock stroke 350, 175 psi in both cylinders with a fresh top end Quote
dave95.1 Posted October 23, 2005 Report Posted October 23, 2005 I don't know how true this is but, I've heard that with different porting cranking compression will be lower. You have to get up in the RPM before the compression will start building. This came from a buddy who knows his shit on 250R's with a 250Rand Eddie Sanders 330 kit with ESR stage 11 porting. His bike runs freakin hard, but kicking it over has around 150psi. He said he still has to run race fuel though. Quote
Fireman-hott Posted October 23, 2005 Report Posted October 23, 2005 Compression builds as you kick it till its done. You should always kick it warm to get the correct reading as expansion will allow for a better seal. 68mm cubs ~500ft above 19cc domes 175psi give/take a couple. ported, stock stroke delta 2's Quote
