y2kbanshee9187 Posted October 17, 2005 Report Posted October 17, 2005 Sorry to hear that. Always sucks to ruin a riding day. Good luck with that Quote
trex banshee Posted October 17, 2005 Report Posted October 17, 2005 yeh i have done that before burnt a hole completey through the piston and the end of my plug was gone it even got the top of the rod but everything else was unharmed i just put new pistons in it(after finding out why it did it) and went drag racing the next weekend. cb67rs1 Posted October 17, 2005 Author Report Posted October 17, 2005 (edited) Yikes! Is this the lime green and grey bike? 426720[/snapback] yeah stan its the lime green one, everthing seems to spin fine,i would still like to boroscope the rod bearings to see what they look like, there are very very very minor scratches on the cylinder walls, you cant even hang a soft piece of .010 wire on the them and its only 3 of them , i did some honeing and it cleaned them up enough where i think i can make it back to the track this weekend. hope it works out then i will pull them back off and go 4 over when im done racing Edited October 17, 2005 by cb67rs1 Quote
