Fatty Vs T5?

How are the Fattys against the T5s? Bottom end? Top end? I ride mostly fastish trails, and some logging roads, and sometimes slow trails. Thanks

From the dyno runs I've seen, they fatties will make more power in the low to mid range and within 1-2hp of the T5's up top...they are probably better for how you ride.

fattys come on smoother and are easier to ride in tight areas.

t-5s have a hard hit and are fun to ride, but some times the hit hurts you when you need traction.

That's my setup and I like em. It's a pretty common but great setup.

Fatty's will be slightly better for your riding style probably, That said you should buy my Fattys with Powercore II's Nickle plated

 

T5's have better finish on them though but also cost more $$

T5's definitely a better quality pipe craftsmanship wise. They just don't look good for long so I guess it doesn't really matter.

Why have you ruled out other brands.Circuits have a broader,longer power band.Much easier to ride wheelies.Oh how I wasted so much $$$$$ on banshee pipes.You will see all kinds of set ups and many run great.

they both have a similar power curve, but the t5's sign on about 900 rpm's later and fall off later, making them a high revving pipe.. I would go with the fattys personally...other little things like gearing and such play their parts too

The T-5 is better in my opinion,but I'm more into racing than casual riding.I have shearers on my banshee.T-5's on my wife's banshee.She really likes them.
