Quinlan Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Can anyone point me in the right ...or any for that matter...direction? I am currently into puttin a 4mm stroker 5mm long rod in the rz shee. But I need port work done. Can anyone recommend anyone for porting RZ cylinders? Looking for an all around port but plan on draggin it the odd time. The only opne I can find is spec II, but there's gotta be someone a liottle closer to Canada, or someone else anywhere that does it. Thanks for any help on this. Quote

Quinlan Posted October 4, 2005 Author Report Posted October 4, 2005 I'm in Nova Scotia. Do you have any way I can get ahold of either of these guys? Thanks Quote
rzcolobanshee Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 Talk to Dan at Patriot Racing, he's done alot with rz's, but I'm not sure if he's doing porting on stock cylinders anymore, last he told me he was only going to do cubs from now on but that may have changed http://patriotracing.net/ Quote
Yaxy Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 I second RZ loco's comments. I received my RZ jugs back from Dan about 3 months ago and port work and price was excellent. Dan also is very knowledgable in the RZ department. Chris Quote
tOj Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 I know Jim @ Passion Racing does porting on the RZ Jugs, he did broke's 12 port 4mm RZShee.. Quote
broke Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 It's worth it to send your jugs a pretty far distance to get the right port work done. Dan at Patriot did my first set of stock stroke jugs. I actually sold them to a member on here after two years of riding. They ran great, I was just looking to go a little faster. So a new motor was built, I decided to go with a +4 and the 12 port just seemed like the logical set up. Jim and Dan build great motors and are both very respected builders. Some talk about the dreaded midrange mis that their 12 ports have had. The PVs must hide it or eliminate it completely because mine does not have it. Quote
