racer714 Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 I think I have an airleak form the problem I addressed in a different post earlier, can anyone/everyone give me any advice on going about this??!!! Quote
endofitall9 Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 a can of starting fluid would be the key just spray the fluid around the base gasket, intake boots, head gasket, anywhere, where there could be an airleak. Do all the places one at a time and if the engine revs when you squirt starting fluid there you've found your airleak. Quote
locogato11283 Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 what he said..just be careful.. if its very lean youll end up f**kin something up...try to find asap.. Quote
Shee-Male Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 a propane tourch also works well for this, but like loco said BE CAREFUL, if it gets to lean it will melt the piston! Quote
