jaysea1 Posted September 28, 2005 Report Posted September 28, 2005 Just wondering what is better? The Trail techs are priced alot better, but RMATV, and every local shop out here in AZ have the stock mount lights on back order. I can get a set of Lazer stars...stock mount for 159$, worth it? Quote
sandman121383 Posted September 28, 2005 Report Posted September 28, 2005 i was in the same boat. and bought trail techs because of the price, plus i got a BRAND New set off bignasty i think his name was like a year ago. no problems or blown bulbs yet. h even threw in a new set of the covers that dont' melt, hell of a deal. maybe u canb get a used set and clean them up. Justintoxicated Posted September 28, 2005 Report Posted September 28, 2005 (edited) trail tech all the way, I don't Like loser star. Ricky stator all makes some billet lights. I'm selling my handle bar mounted illuminators soon. Edited September 28, 2005 by Justintoxicated Quote
ZillaRider02 Posted September 28, 2005 Report Posted September 28, 2005 I've got the Trail Tech's in the stock mounts. No problems so far. Much brighter than stock! Quote
Bansh88 Posted September 28, 2005 Report Posted September 28, 2005 I've got trail Techs. Love them. $149 for Lazer Stars aint bad though. I've had 2 bulbs blow so far. One after a rollover. New Bulbs are $3. So what. I have extra. Quote
Cannon Posted September 29, 2005 Report Posted September 29, 2005 I got my trail tech stock mounts a couple of month ago from the address below . I like them, they work very well, no problems. Justintoxicated Posted September 29, 2005 Report Posted September 29, 2005 I don't like the quality of lazer starts, I don't liek the way the Bulb is isolated and I don't like the design where water and sand can get in or the ring can come loose. I'd stick with trailtech or ricky stator if it was me... I do like the new double isolated trailtechs... Quote
jaysea1 Posted September 29, 2005 Author Report Posted September 29, 2005 Thanks for the info gentleman, I'll just wait a little...and locate some new ones.(Trail techs) Quote
