PUSH THE THROTTLE Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 How about your reeds? Quote
endofitall9 Posted September 8, 2005 Author Report Posted September 8, 2005 the reeds are boyesen carbon reeds. ok i i put the choke on and it sputtered so about 500 more kicks it sputtered some more put the choke half on and off nothing but with the choke on and kicking it 1000 time it will start not runn you touch the gas and its over.......do you need a gasket if you take your reeds out or can you just put them back in? any ideas? jetting was fine last time i rode Quote
PUSH THE THROTTLE Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 Not sure, if you've got spark, air, fuel you should be golden. I'm leaning to your jetting being off or something just not right about your carbs. Quote
wielandr Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 try starting it with the choke open and throttle wide open . whenever my shee wont start that usually works. you can pull off your carbs from the intake boot and look in to see if you have a cracked reed or a chunk missing ...! Quote
endofitall9 Posted September 9, 2005 Author Report Posted September 9, 2005 well I got her running cleaned the air filter cleaned the carbs took the reeds out and flipped them, it still took a bit to get it started but fired up and has started up everytime since........now my lights wont work thanks for the help fellers Quote
