Hey guys, need some help. I had the shee in the back of my truck and was caught in a torrential downpour for about 25 minutes. I tried to start it and it ran for about two seconds, and died. Any efforts after that were met with a loud backfire out the right side. Could not bump start it either. Any ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated.

drop some new plugs in it and spray your cdi box and coil and wires down with wd40. that will disperes any hidden moisture and then do the same with your on off headlight switch. then kick her over and ride. make sure your airbox is not full of water and your filter is dry.

Thanks for the help guys, I let it sit overnight in the garage, and it fired right up today. Although it only sees light mud and water, does anyone have any waterproofing tricks for the coil or cdi. Any help is greatly appreciated.

di-electric compound for all the wire boots and connections. It's basically non-hardening silicone. And spray silicone for everywhere else. I use spray silicone on everything. I spray it on my shocks to reduce the chance of rust and repel dirt and pretty much on everything.
